Earl Shilton Building Society's 95% First Time Buyer product is no longer restricted to postcode areas LE, CV9-15 and DE11-15.
The product is limited by tranche size however, so could be withdrawn at any time.
As a reminder, the product details are:
- Booking Fee of £125 payable upfront and non-refundable
- No Arrangement Fee, No Higher Lending Charge and Free standard valuation
- Maximum mortgage amount £250,000
- 95% maximum loan to value (LTV) Houses only. 75% LTV Flats/Maisonettes/Houses in London and South-East
There is an Early Repayment Charge if the mortgage is redeemed or rearranged in the first 5 years, calculated as follows:
- 2% of the redemption balance is payable within the first 2 years
- 1.5% of the redemption balance is payable in years 3 and 4
- 1% of the redemption balance is payable in year 5
