Tandem Specialist mortgages are looking to assist customers who are underserved by High St lenders, offering competitive products, innovative ideas and a fresh approach to challenge current industry “normals”.

Tandem launched in 2014 as one of the UK’s original digital challenger banks providing customers with simple and transparent savings and lending products. Tandem is a fully licensed UK bank with a strong fintech banking platform serving over 270,000 customers.

The bank acquired leading consumer lender Oplo in January 2022 – a profitable consumer lending business focused on the new mainstream of UK borrowers underserved by traditional high street banks providing secured and unsecured loans and motor finance.

It also acquired Harrods Bank in 2018 and Allium Lending Group in 2020 – a business focused on the green home improvement lending sector providing embedded retail point of sale.

Tandem has offices in Blackpool, Cardiff, Durham, London and Manchester, and employs approximately 500 people.
