Personal Protection

Whether it's personal or business cover, our goal is to provide your clients with comprehensive and tailored solutions.

Life cover

Zurich’s Life cover helps provide financial protection for your client's family should they die or be diagnosed with a terminal illness. They can choose to take out a policy that pays out in a lump sum, or they can select family income cover that pays out a monthly amount over the policy term.
Your clients can also choose to add one of two levels of children’s cover, as well as additional tailored protection if they’re planning to add to their family in the future.

Critical Illness Cover

Critical Illness cover gives your client a financial cushion to help them absorb the impact of a serious illness. It pays out if they’re diagnosed with one of the conditions covered by their policy and does so as soon as possible after their diagnosis. They can choose to take out a policy that pays out in a lump sum, or they can select family income cover that pays out a monthly amount over the policy term.
The money can be used however they want, to pay off a mortgage, support their family or to simply ease any extra worries at a tough time and focus on getting better.
We offer three different levels of Critical Illness cover – Critical Illness, Critical Illness enhanced and Critical Illness enhanced plus - so you can craft different solutions to meet the needs of each client.  Each option is available with or without Life cover.
Your clients can also choose to add one of two levels of children’s cover, as well as additional tailored protection if they’re planning to add to their family in the future.

They can select any amount of cover between £10,000 - £100,000 and this amount will remain level for the duration of the policy, no matter the structure chosen for the adult cover.
Our children’s cover provides you with the ability to craft different solutions for your clients based on their needs, their budget and whether or not they’re planning to start or add to their family.

Multi-fracture cover

Protect your clients from the cost of broken bones, dislocations, Achilles tendon ruptures and cruciate ligament tears with multi-fracture cover. An injury like a broken bone could put your client off work for weeks, if not months. Multi-fracture cover provides a financial cushion that allows them to concentrate on getting back on their feet. This cover can be added at an extra cost to Personal Protection or Income Protection policies and they won't have to answer any questions about their health or activities. Multi-fracture cover must be added when a policy starts and can be removed at any point.

Business Protection

Business Protection cover

Ensuring the survival of the business when things go wrong.
A business is built by its people, so the unexpected loss of a key person or owner through critical illness or death is likely to have a significant impact on its ability to continue trading profitably and may even lead to its closure.
Zurich Business Protection provides comprehensive cover for key people and owners. If the worst happens, funds are provided to help the business continue trading, repay debt or provide a payment to a seriously ill owner for their share of the business, or their family if they die.

Relevant Life

Zurich Relevant Life cover offers a tax efficient way for an employer, usually a small business, to provide Life cover for an employee. It is designed to help protect their family against the impact of their death or diagnosis of a terminal illness whilst they're employed.
Relevant life cover may be suitable if:
•    The employer has a small business without enough employees to set up a group life scheme.
•    The employer wants to provide death-in-service benefits to their employees that exceed those payable under the main company scheme.
•    The employees have substantial pension funds and don’t want their death-in-service benefits to form part of their pension lifetime allowance.

We’ve built our Relevant Life cover product in a way that lets the employer choose the cover their employee needs, and change it when their employees’ life changes.
