NatWest Intermediary Solutions is dedicated intermediary mortgage business. They specialise in offering a range of products that are suitable for mortgage advisers to recommend to their customers that is supported by an established and reliable service.

Their product range includes:

Lenders send payments by BACS which can take anything up to 5 working days to clear at PMS. PMS then make payment to brokers once the funds have cleared in our account.  

At NatWest we are pleased to announce that we are increasing our maximum procuration fee payable.

What you need to know:

Following market feedback from our brokers we’re pleased to announce that we are increasing our maximum procuration fee for residential, Buy-to-Let and Product Transfers from £10,000 to £20,000.

This change will come into effect from 19th January and will be applied to new applications submitted from this date.

As a reminder – last year we simplified and reduced our valuation fees and the new price bandings are as follows (if you select a product with a valuation fee):

  • Purchase price or property value up to and including £3million = £102 + £75 admin fee = £177
  • Purchase price or property value above £3million = £1,380 + £75 admin fee = £1,455

For any properties valued over £10m these are available, upon request via LGSS.

Service is NatWest's number one priority. That's why it has grown its team of field and phone-based business development managers (BDMs) who are the principal points of contact for discussing new business opportunities.

If you need a quick answer to a question about an application before submit it, then you should log on to NatWest's dedicated broker instant messaging service, LiveTALK. Manned by its specialist Sales Support Team, they can answer your questions about customer applications on topics such as lending criteria, or packaging requirements quickly and accurately. LiveTalk is open from 9am-6pm on weekdays.

BDM support team for post-submission application enquiries
If you have a question in relation to an application that you have already submitted, NatWest has a dedicated team on hand to help you. Your BDM will put you in contact with them for appropriate cases. They will be able to liaise directly with their mortgage processing centre and underwriters. They can also advise you of the up-to-date requirements to progress applications when repair is required on issues such as: 

  • Valuation instructions for urgent cases
  • Covering BDMs' phones when on holiday
  • Advising on what is required for cases to proceed
  • Escalating urgent cases
  • Providing 1 month offer extensions (for standard 3 months offers)
  • Obtaining product and ID exceptions

Submitting an application:
To submit an application online, you first need to register then log on from their home page. When submitting an application, it is important that it is accompanied by all the relevant supporting documentation. Please refer to the 'Packaging' page on the site to help you send the correct documents every time. 

Case updates
Once you've submitted an application you will be updated with progress by phone or email. Please refer to their home page to find out when NatWest will be assessing the information you have provided.
